A hydrogel platform technology
Oxford Medical Products has developed a gastroretentive hydrogel platform technology that is currently in late stage human clinical trials as a weight-loss treatment called ‘Sirona’ and is in development as a gastroretentive drug delivery system called ‘OMP-GEL’. The technology has other potential applications in nutraceutical delivery and biosensors.
Our pipeline
Our lead asset Sirona is at the clinical development stage and recently completed its second UK-based clinical trial as a weight loss treatment. Based on the core hydrogel technology, we have also commenced development of drug delivery systems for both small molecules and biologics.
