We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Technician to join our passionate and proud team and to help us bring our cutting-edge technology to the market as quickly as possible. This position will be a vital contributor to the product development that enables our products to improve the lives of millions of people worldwide.
Manufacturing Technician responsibilities:
Production of prototypes, pre-clinical and clinical trial products for development projects in an ISO 8 cleanroom facility. Manufacturing batches to time and GMP standards.
Performance and product testing for existing and new products.
Calibration, and cleaning of facility equipment.
Cleaning and assisting with environmental monitoring of the cleanroom facility.
General housekeeping of the stores area.
Undertaking weekly stock checks of consumables.
Completing and updating quality records and following the documented quality management system.
Contributing to continual improvement activities such as process optimisation, risk management, and waste reduction.
All other necessary tasks, as required by the company.
Manufacturing Technician Skills & Experience:
Competent in basic laboratory techniques e.g. use of an analytical balance, use of pipettes, and good laboratory practice.
Competent in following and adhering to work instructions, SOP’s and study protocols.
Experienced in the utilisation of computer software to manage data and documentation.
Can take individual responsibility and work independently for assigned work.
Makes effective use of time by effective planning in coordination with time scales defined by the project team / direct line manager.
Disciplined in adhering to group objectives.
A good team player, who is proactive and recognizes opportunities for improvement.
Can communicate effectively with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
Previous experience of working in a cleanroom and use of aseptic techniques may be an advantage, but full training will be provided if needed.

Some morning weekend work might be required on-site. This is a ‘hands-on’ in-person position and therefore remote working is not possible.
Salary: £25,000-30,000 depending on experience
